What to Expect at a Colonie Mathnasium Center
Every student starts with a free diagnostic assessment — about 45 minutes — that identifies exactly where their math skills are solid and where foundational gaps exist. From there, a custom learning plan is built before instruction begins.
Sessions are 1 hour, typically 2–3 times per week. Students work through their individual plan with instructors available throughout — not lecture format, not group classes.
North Colonie (Shaker) and South Colonie (Colonie Central) are both competitive districts. We work with students who need foundational gap remediation as well as students who want to stay ahead of the curriculum or prepare for honors-level courses.
