What to Expect at a Guilderland Mathnasium Center

Every student starts with a free diagnostic assessment — about 45 minutes — that identifies exactly where their math skills are solid and where foundational gaps exist. From there, a custom learning plan is built before instruction begins.

Sessions are 1 hour, typically 2–3 times per week. Students work through their individual plan with instructors available throughout — not lecture format, not group classes.

Guilderland and Bethlehem are both competitive districts where families often seek support before key transitions — especially the jump to middle school math and the start of Regents coursework. Voorheesville students also regularly attend this center.

Questions from Guilderland Families
