Session Stories for Mathnasium franchisees.
Every session your CD can't personally debrief is a parent communication that doesn't happen. This makes the instructor do it in 2 minutes — so the CD doesn't have to choose between doing it themselves or letting it slide.
💡Why It Matters
Session communication depends on whether the CD had time
When the CD is the one who writes parent recaps, quality is high — but it doesn't scale. When instructors do it without support, the output varies wildly or doesn't happen at all. The tool gives every instructor the same capability.
Session notes in Radius are written for staff, not parents
The notes instructors leave are useful internally, but they aren't designed to be shared. Translating them into something a parent would want to read takes time and judgment that most instructors don't have — until now.
Consistent session communication builds retention
Families who feel connected to what their child is doing at Mathnasium stay longer. A short recap after each session is a low-effort touchpoint that reinforces the value of every visit — and your CD doesn't have to be the one sending it.
📋What You Get
- Structured form that captures what happened in the session — topics, what went well, next focus, student mood — in 2–3 minutes
- AI-generated 3–5 sentence parent-facing recap based on instructor inputs and recent session history
- Student context from recent sessions is pulled automatically to give the AI more accurate grounding
- Editable output — staff review the draft and copy it before sending
- Standalone version available for use without a database connection (owner portal)
⚙️Why Franchisees Care
Your CD's communication standard scales to every instructor
The recap is written to reflect the center's voice and Mathnasium's method — not whatever an instructor would dash off in 30 seconds. Every family gets a consistent, quality note regardless of who taught the session.
Instructors fill a form — not a blank page
Staff answer a few structured questions about what happened. The AI does the writing. The cognitive load on the instructor is low; the output quality matches what the CD would produce.
Every session becomes a visible moment of progress
Parents don't just see the monthly bill — they see the work. A short recap after each session keeps Mathnasium's value front and center without the CD personally managing every touchpoint.
🧭How It Works
Step 1
Instructor opens the tool after a session
The internal version auto-populates the instructor name and connects to enrolled students for selection.
Step 2
Instructor fills the structured form
Topics covered, what went well, next focus, homework, student mood — each section is a quick selection or short note, not open-ended writing.
Step 3
Recent session context loads automatically
The system pulls the student's recent session history to give the AI grounding in what this student has been working on lately.
Step 4
AI generates the parent-facing recap
A 3–5 sentence note is generated in parent-friendly language — warm, specific, and grounded in what was actually entered by the instructor.
Step 5
Staff review and copy
The draft is editable. Staff review it, adjust if needed, and copy it to send through whatever channel they use.
Does not include: Automatic delivery to parents (sending lives in the Parent Communication bundle), editing session notes in Radius, or generating summaries without instructor input.
