Student Insight for Mathnasium franchisees.

Student Insight pulls attendance, learning plan progress, session history, and AI interpretation into one page so staff can go into parent conversations prepared instead of piecing the story together on the fly.

💡Why It Matters

Parent calls are harder when you're piecing together information from three places

Before a check-in call or a difficult retention conversation, staff are pulling from Radius, session notes, and memory. There's no single view that shows attendance, LP progress, and session history at once — and the quality of the conversation suffers for it.

You can't always tell which students are at risk until it's too late

By the time a parent calls to cancel, attendance has usually been declining for weeks. Without a clear signal, staff don't know which students to proactively reach out to — so they react instead of prevent.

The data exists — it's just not in a useful form

Attendance, session history, LP velocity, and assessment results are all in Radius and Supabase. The problem isn't data availability; it's that nothing synthesizes it into something actionable before a conversation.

📋What You Get

  • One-page student view: attendance health bucket, LP velocity, last 10 sessions with notes, and assessment history — all loaded automatically
  • AI-generated master summary at the top: what's going on with this student right now, what matters most, and what to say to the parent
  • Inline AI insights per section — attendance engagement quality, LP velocity cause, and a session narrative so staff understand trends, not just numbers
  • Learning plan data refreshed live from Radius every time the page loads — never stale
  • Overall status badge (On Track / Monitor / At Risk / Critical) so staff can scan before going into any conversation

⚙️Why Franchisees Care

Staff walk into every parent conversation prepared

Instead of searching through Radius before a call, staff open one page and have everything they need — including what the AI recommends saying. The conversation is better because the preparation takes seconds, not minutes.

At-risk students surface before they cancel

The attendance bucket and LP velocity signals flag students who are slipping before a parent says anything. Directors who review the tool proactively can reach out before a cancellation is already decided.

The AI does the synthesis

Attendance, LP progress, and session history each tell part of the story. The master AI summary connects them — giving staff a plain-language picture of what's actually going on with a student and what the most important thing to address is.

🧭How It Works

Step 1

Staff select a student from the center picker

The tool is opened from the Center Director tools section. Staff pick a center and then select a student from a searchable list.

Step 2

All data loads automatically

Attendance, LP progress, session history, and assessment records are fetched in a single load. The LP is refreshed live from Radius so the data is always current.

Step 3

Section AI analyses run in parallel

Three AI analyses run simultaneously: attendance engagement, LP velocity cause, and a session narrative. Each surfaces inline next to its section.

Step 4

Master summary generates last

Once the three section AIs complete, a master summary synthesizes everything: overall situation, the most important thing to know, and a recommended talking point for the parent conversation.

Step 5

Staff review before the call

The whole page is read-only and informational. Staff use it to prepare — not to edit data or send anything directly.

Does not include: Editing student data, sending parent communication from this page, or replacing Radius as the student record system.
